ORGANIC & ORIGINAL STYLE
Graphic designer for over 10 years, and working since 2011 in close collaboration with the artisanal screen printing workshop PROPAGANDA, I decided in 2016 to try the adventure of sharing my graphic creations with the public in a different way.
The universe of my creations is quite POP, because often inspired by images or texts of our modern society; a little OFF-KILD because regularly seasoned with absurd humor; and finally very GRAPHIC because influenced by reveries from elsewhere...
For the support I always try to work in a reasoned way for our planet, which is why I choose to produce my creations in VERY limited series, sometimes even on demand and always on ecological materials (organic cotton, materials from the fair market, recycled materials, salvaged, bamboo fiber, etc.) and coming from manufacturers who care about the working conditions of their employees.
POINT(S) OF SALE
My official store: ZE POLITA in Bayonne
Since December 2021 I have had the immense luck and happiness of having opened my own boutique in Bayonne!
I named it "ZE POLITA", which means "How pretty it is" in Basque. It is located in Bayonne, my favorite city, at 9 rue Port de Castets.
This is the story of an opportunity that I seized on the fly! A bet that was perhaps a little crazy but such a stimulating new project!
Since the beginning of the health crisis that we have all been experiencing since 2020, my main daily anxiety has been not having any visibility on the future of my professional activity. Working on the markets has been a bit like riding a roller coaster that has not stopped for two years: one day we are allowed to unpack, another day we are imposed new rules despite the fact that we work outside and then one day we are told that we are no longer allowed ... in short! I admit that, despite very good seasons on the markets, my morale and my serenity were starting to run out a little ... and I was starting to no longer know why I was looking towards the horizon!
So I was lucky enough to find this little place, nestled in the heart of a bustling street in Bayonne, which seemed to be waiting for me!
I managed to open at 9 on 12/09/2021, the day before record floods in Bayonne (I'm not superstitious ;D) and thanks to the support of friends and family in a few days everything fell into place... Thank you 🥰
Your welcome this December was truly magnificent and so encouraging for the future! Thank you!
Now it's up to me to find my bearings, develop new creations and organize myself so that I can still meet you at the markets from time to time because I love it so much!

THE POLITE
ECO-RESPONSIBLE
Textile design is good but it pollutes!!!
And yes, the textile industry is the second largest cause of pollution on our planet... So it was obvious to me that if I embarked on this adventure, it would be in a reasoned and responsible manner.
For this reason, MA CREATIONS only prints its visuals on ecological textiles and from the fair trade market. Because organic is good, but if it's so that humans kill themselves working on it, no thanks!
So here are some labels that you can find on our textiles.
FAIR WEAR FOUNDATION
https://www.fairwear.org
Fair Wear is an international label for good working conditions in the textile sector. The label does not have any binding criteria but works with the sector to improve working conditions. The label is managed by the Fair Wear Foundation, which also carries out the monitoring. Fair Wear Foundation is an independent non-profit organisation that works with companies to improve the work of workers in the textile industry.
OEKOTEX 100
https://www.oeko-tex.com
Oeko-Tex 100 is an international label for textiles. It indicates that the final product does not contain harmful substances. The label is managed by the International Oeko-Tex® Association, which also carries out the inspection. International Oeko-Tex® Association is an association of 16 research institutes for textiles. Centexbel, the Scientific and Technical Centre of the Belgian Textile Industry, is one of these research institutes.
GOTS
http://www.global-standard.org
GOTS is an international label for organic textiles. It indicates that production is carried out in an ecological and socially responsible manner. In addition, there are quality requirements for the products. The label is anchored in European legislation and is managed by GOTS. GOTS (Global organic textile standard) is an international organization consisting of 4 members, each of whom previously had a separate label for organic textiles. The four members are: the Organic Trade Association, the Japan Organic Cotton Association (JOCA), the International Association of Natural Textile Industry and the Soil Association (UK). The control is carried out by independent control bodies.
The OCS 100 label for products composed of 100% natural raw materials, and the OCS blended label for products composed of at least 95% natural raw materials (less than 5% synthetic components) .
